Dtour is excited to be partnering with TURBOCAM International to host a special ride for TURBOCAM employees. Based on one of our favorite rides, The Unknown Himalayas, our TURBORIDE will also include crossing over into Nepal to visit TURBOCAM projects there. Interested riders should review this page and fill in the Expression of Interest form. We are exploring the possibility of running the ride in three cycles, with a minimum requirement of 4 riders to operate one cycle. The proposed start dates for the cycles are:

Another option is that you can find 3-4 coworkers and create your own cycle at any time that suits. To keep the mentioned price point down and encourage more riders to participate TURBOCAM will offset some of the costs of the ride through a donation on behalf of each rider to Our Cause in your name.

About The Ride

Deep in the Kumaun region of India's mighty Himalayan mountains is an unknown road; an adventure waiting just for you. Let us take you on the tour of your life through thick jungles, across rivers, through winding bamboo forrests and over pine covered hills. Bathe in hot springs, parasail over the mountains and immerse yourself in the rich culture of Uttarakhand. Depending on the season you may be in for snow fall, not to worry, short travel distances, low speeds and warm fires will keep you warm and safe the whole way.

You don't have to be an enduro rider to take part in this ride. While there are a few minor off-road/mud sections (depending on the time of year) our team of trained professional riders will not only teach you the skills you need but be right there with you, every inch of the way. Day 2 of the ride focuses on rider skills and training, by the time riders complete the course they are ready for the roads ahead.

From start to finish this ride is incredible, we don't promise it will be easy but the challenge is a part of the experience. Starting at the orphanage in Banbasa you will meet the kids you are supporting before taking a test ride through the jungle for a safety and ride briefing. The next day you will shoot straight up into the mountains where many days of twists and turns will satisfy even the most avid adventure rider. Once returning to a lower altitude riders will cross into Nepal and ride to Tikapur to visit the school supported by TURBOCAM there.
