Don't let the name fool you, this is no walk in the park. The Valley of Flowers is an incredibly beautiful location tucked way back deep in the Himalayas of Uttarakhand. Enjoy the ride up through sweeping mountain valleys, through winding pine forests and deep into glacial fed gorges. This ride also involves a solid 7 hour trek from Govind Ghat up to the Valley of Flowers, those unable to trek can opt for a helicopter ride or donkey (at additional cost).

Those wishing to attempt this trip should be good riders as well as physically fit due to the hiking element. The trek up to Ghangaria is a solid challenge, especially after a half day of riding. It's totally worth it though, this spot is a sacred pilgrimage point for tens of thousands of people each year.

The absolute best time to enjoy this ride is mid-July and August when the flowers of the valley are out in full bloom.
